We will begin accepting sign-ups for our Spring/Summer 2015 local produce member share in early March; weather pending, the first of 12 deliveries will be the 2nd week of April. The pickup location will be Simplee Gourmet in Covington (next to the Winn Dixie on Hwy 21) from 12:30-5:00 on Wednesdays. Our 10th local produce season will work as in the past; the typical share of our produce club entitles you to 6-8 items per week in a quantity sufficient to feed a family of four. The produce you receive will vary each week; we are growing over 30 types of vegetables each season. We will begin the season harvesting the typical winter crops like beets, carrots, turnips, lettuce, kale, chard, pok choy, broccoli, cauliflower and other cool weather produce. As things warm up we will transition to summer crops. We ask that you commit $396.00 for the entire season ($33.00 per week).
